This is the eleventh year of Wagapalooza!
Thanks to Jeff and Jen Donnelly of Jolly Dog and Moe Chabuz and the
late Doug Sica of Skinny Legs, Wagapalooza has become the major
fundraising event for the Animal Care Center. Wagapalooza had
always been held at Skinny's in Coral Bay, but it finally outgrew that
venue.
This year marks the seventh time in Cruz Bay and this year will be
even bigger and better. Wagapalooza organizers had some new
ideas to combine with the good old standards. With Waga
in the evening we attract more families and more dogs (it is
cooler!!!!). There is great food and drink all evening. |

Volunteers solicited ads for the much coveted Waga t-shirt, on
sale at the event.
You can also get a t-shirt on-line or at Marketplace on Adoption
Clinic Days. Volunteers the day of
are numerous, and the event could not succeed without them.
Plan to help us this year, call
the ACC to volunteer. |
| In order to keep things running smoothly, we encourage
pre-registration for the dog events. Check back
for on-line registration. |
|
|
|
All monies donated for this event will go to the Animal
Care Center.
This is the big money-raiser to keep the
ACC going.

Fifty four legged registrants strutted their
stuff into the hearts of the enthusiastic crowd last year.
With almost twice as many non-competing dogs on hand to wag on their four
legged friends, the day was filled with lots of nose sniffing, tail
wagging and great fun by both the dogs as well as their human pets. |

With dogs registered from St. John and St.
Thomas, The Parade of Pooches was a howling success with MC Erika
Kellerhalls.
